Deputy Tim Lemmons and K-9 Zeke

Limmons and Zeke

My name is Tim Lemmons and I’ve been a Deputy Sheriff for nine years. During that time, I have been fortunate to work on many different assignments, including patrol, marijuana eradication, sex crimes, defensive tactics instructor, and a field training officer. In May 2020, I joined the K-9 Unit as a K-9 handler.

My K-9 partner, Zeke, is a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois. He was born in Holland and primarily understands Dutch. He is a dual-purpose Apprehension and Narcotics dog.

In the time we have been together, K-9 Zeke has taught me a lot. The bond between us is one few can understand. He loves company and enjoys being around his family and other people. While at work, he can often be found spinning circles and talking to me in the car. Once he's home, you’ll find K-9 Zeke lying on the laps of his family or getting a belly rub. If you pet him, you’ve just gained the best friend a person can have.
