The 2019 Registration Race
Congratulations to our 2019 winner, Taylor Parmley from Los Banos High School and special thanks to 99 Rootz and all students who participated in our First Annual Registration Race.
The Registration Race is a new program to promote voter registration and pre-registration in Merced County High Schools. In 2019, students who participated registered close to 500 students. They were recognized for their efforts by Assesor-Clerk-Recorder- Registrar of Voters Barbara J. Levey, U.S. Representative Jim Costa, State Senator Anna Caballero, State Assemblymember Adam Gray, and the Merced County Board of Supervisors.
