Disposing of medications down the toilet, drain, or in the garbage (residential or commercial) is harmful to the environment.  You can dispose of your unwanted or expired prescription and non-prescription medications in the gray-colored "Prescription Medication Disposal" located inside the Merced County Sheriff's Office (Merced, CA) and the Charles F. Bludworth Sub-station in Delhi, CA.

Please remove pills from the plastic bottles and place them in a Ziploc bag. We will accept creams and gels in the original container, just be sure the lids are on tight and they are sealed in a plastic bag.
