Risk Tiers

Every county in California is assigned to a tier based on its test positivity and adjusted case rate for tier assignment. The assignment of a tier determines the level of activity within the county according to the State Blueprint for a Safer Economy.

Merced County is currently in:  TIER 1 – WIDESPREAD

Many non-essential indoor business operations are to remain closed.
