Upon being hired, sworn staff are required to complete Core training as outlined by the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC)/Standard for Training and Corrections (STC). After completing Core training, staff are required to complete annual training based on their classification and assignment. Training requirements are as follows:

The Training Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with mandated training requirements established by the BSCC and schedules annual and entry level training to sworn staff, as well as support staff.
