Read and Succeed

Who are we?

Read and Succeed is a literacy program funded by the state and federal funding. We began approximately 11 years ago with the first and founding coordinator of Read and Succeed, Pam Cornelison. Since then, the program has helped hundreds of our community members with their Reading, Writing, or GED goals.

Our program provides 1 on 1 tutoring services to anyone who qualifies. We determine eligibility via a brief assessment and application which helps us define and shape our services around the needs of the individual. Here at Read and Succeed, we shape our program to be learner centered and goal oriented. This means that our learners will only be doing things that they need to do to accomplish their goals after discussing it with their tutors.

The best part about our program is that all our tutors are volunteers and everything is free of charge including any instructional materials needed.

What can we do for you as a volunteer?
