About the Cal-Learn Program
Cal-Learn is an intensive case management program for CalWORKs teen parents. The goal is to encourage each teen parent to continue their high school education and ensure the health and welfare of both the teen and their child.
Case workers follow the teen's progress throughout the academic year. Cash bonuses may be paid for receiving good grades on each report card. Graduation will also qualify the teen parent a cash bonus.
