Responsibilities
- Implement the policy directives of the Board of Supervisors
- Serve as the Board’s legislative liaison at local, state and federal levels
- Manage the day-to-day operations and functions of County government
- Make recommendations to the Board relating to personnel policies, including salaries and benefits for County employees
- Exercise executive supervision and control of the affairs of all departments and services of the County
- Supervise and oversee the development and administration of the County budget, including Capital Improvement Program
- Represent the Board of Supervisors in matters pertaining to relationships with other government agencies and the public
