Welfare-to-Work
Many job fields require specific skills in order to get hired. Welfare-to-Work (WTW) has contracted with many community partners to provide a wide-array of job training skills.
Depending on results taken from a skills assessment test, applicants may be eligible to receive training in the following job fields:
- Automotive services
- Accounting
- Computer and office technology
- Construction
- Medical technology
- Marketing
Not all classes will be available for each participant.
Our Mission
Job skills classes help to fulfill the work requirements for
CalWORKs. They also prepare participants to become self-sufficient by increasing the employability of participants.
