A Merced County Deputy arrested a man in possession of a firearm and 10 pounds of marijuana. On February 14, 2018 at about 10:00pm, Deputy Hugo Bucio was performing some extra patrol and checking a property that recently burnt down in the 14000 block of Hoskins Avenue in Delhi. While walking through an abandoned trailer on the property, Deputy Bucio found 31 year old Angel Solorio inside. Solorio was in possession of a loaded .45 Caliber Glock 21 pistol and 10 pounds of marijuana. Additionally, Deputy Bucio was advised by dispatch that Solorio had a warrant for his arrest. Solorio was placed under arrest for the warrant and other charges related to the investigation and later issued a citation and released.
