A press conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19th at the Old County Courthouse, 21st and N Streets in Merced to announce more than a dozen arrests and indictments in a major gang investigation into criminal activities of the Merced Gangster Crips. The five-month investigation was led by the Merced Multi-Agency Gang Task Force with assistance from the state Department of Justice, California State Parole Office, the Merced Police Department and the San Pablo Police Department.
