ELECTION INFORMATION FOR MARCH 3, 2020
MERCED – Barbara Levey, Merced County Registrar of Voters, announced today that, in accordance with the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California, an election will be held in Merced County on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 for the following offices:
FEDERAL & STATE OFFICES:
President of the United States
United States Senator
United States Representative, District 16
California State Assembly Member, District 21
JUDICIAL OFFICES:
Judge of the Superior Court, Office # 5
Judge of the Superior Court, Office # 7
Judge of the Superior Court, Office # 11
COUNTY OFFICES:
Merced County Supervisor, District 1
Merced County Supervisor, District 2
Merced County Supervisor, District 4
IMPORTANT FILING DATES:
September 12, 2019 to November 6, 2019: Signature in Lieu of Filing Fee Period All Offices
October 28, 2018 to November 6, 2019: Declaration of Intention Period Judicial Offices Only
November 12, 2019 to December 6, 2019: Nomination/Declaration of Candidacy Period All Offices
February 17, 2019: Last day to register to vote in this election
Candidates for any of the above mentioned offices must obtain nomination papers from the Merced County Registrar of Voters office, located at 2222 M Street, Merced, California. The Merced County Registrar of Voters will issue and file documents during normal business hours, Monday through Friday (excluding recognized holidays).
